The New family membership will be limited to the first 16 families to apply.
The Heron Park executive is continuing a special program to build our junior membership. We all know that having a strong junior program will help to ensure the growth and vitality of the club. For this reason we have created a special membership category called New Family Member. The characteristics of the new membership category are:
- In order to qualify for a new family membership no one in the family can be a previous member of Heron Park (A family is a couple and their children up to the age of 21. However children must be 8 and older to participate in lessons)
- Free lessons for parents and children 8 years old and older (juniors)
- Parent lessons include strategies for helping their children with tennis and how to enjoy tennis as a family
- No access to leagues or other regular club activities unless upgraded to a regular family membership
- New Family members can book on courts 4 and 5 at the times below.
Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 10 pm
Monday evenings from 6 pm to 10 pm - Three round robin tournaments with light refreshments will be held throughout the year
- Racquets will be provided by the club for lessons
- The cost of a new family membership is $50
- New Family members can convert to a full family membership by paying the difference in the cost. This will give them access to full court booking privileges
- The New family membership will be limited to the first 16 families to apply

Also if anybody has any antique adult racquets that they would like to donate to the club they would come in useful for the parent lessons.
